Camp Keepsake 2024

Watch this roughly 3-minute video about Camp Keepsake.

WHAT IS CAMP KEEPSAKE?

Camp Keepsake offers adult cancer patients/survivors (including some in remission) and potentially up to five members of their families and/or friends of all ages, the chance to attend our cost-free weekend camp session.
Accepted campers will be invited to attend our camp session.

Camp Keepsake, a program of Cancer Hope Foundation, is a place where adults with cancer/cancer survivors can go with their family and friends to spend time away from the hectic and often stressful routine of doctor visits and treatments.

This cost-free camp offers a variety of fun camp-related activities and spa-type amenities for people of all ages in a woodsy camp environment, always mindful of the safety and special needs of the campers. Camp Keepsake provides an environment where family and friends can also learn more about cancer-related topics. It is a place to laugh, cry, and embrace life together.

Invitations to attend Camp Keepsake are based upon completed applications and selection committee review.

Persons with illnesses closely related to cancer, patients in remission, and/or people with other situations wherein the Camp Keepsake directors deem attendance appropriate, are also welcomed under special circumstances.

Bring kids, adults, or come alone! Join us for campfires, music, crafts, games, dancing, sharing, massages, sports, facials, photos, and a whole lot more!

When will Camp Keepsake take place?

Camp Keepsake 2024 will take place from September 20-22, 2024.

What happens after I complete my application?

All completed camp applications will be reviewed and considered by our selection committee based on many criteria. Depending in part on the level of response, a portion or all of our applicants may also be considered on a first-come/first-serve basis; consequently, available openings may be filled prior to the application deadline which is subject to change.

Our selection committee reserves the right to add or hold open spaces for later(r) applicants as deemed appropriate.

Interested patients and those in remission are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Please note that submitting an application does not ensure an invitation. Invitations to attend camp are given at the sole discretion of the selection committee.
